Puff pastry with olives, tomato and “feta” cheese
ingredients
- 1 sheet of ready-made puff pastry
- 2 medium size chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup (medium size) of extra virgin olive oil
- 150g “feta” cheese cut into pieces
- 70g Lelia Sliced Kalamata Olives
- 1 tablespoon caper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
method
Gently unfold the puff pastry sheet on a smooth surface. Place evenly on the sheet the ingredients and sprinkle with oregano, salt and pepper. Then roll the puff pastry and put in the freezer for an hour. After 1 hour cut the puff pastry into slices and place on an oiled baking pan. Bake at 180oC for 30 minutes or until it becomes reddish. Serve the slices warm as an appetizer.
